As I go about my day and fold into the evening after a long day of work, the Southern part of the country is once again preparing themselves for what may come with tropical storm Gustav (as well as Hanna, running a pretty close second). A state of emergency has already been issued for some parts...
My heart is still, to this day, heavy with the thought of what people have already been through with storms in the past, namely Katrina, that took the worlds of so many people and completely turned them upside down, scattering them all about in so many different ways. Life seems so unfair sometimes.
Please keep all of the people that are standing strong and preparing for this storm in your prayers, God is always listening when people gather together to pray for others!
And to all of you who must deal with Mother Nature in some serious ways at this time each year, keep the faith and know that God is with you...
