Nan over at Nannybird Crafts has been on my blogroll since I first started blogging at the beginning of this year. I don't remember how I stumbled upon her site but I'm so glad to have found it and have enjoyed her great posts and comments. We seem to have quite a bit in common, and I have a sneaking suspicion we would make great "real-life" Girlfriends, but for now, I'll take what I can get - here in bloggyland!
Anyhoo, back to what I was going to say... Nan has given me this neat little BFF award (Blogging Friends Forever), which I have placed over on the sidebar. It's a credit card, standing for blogging friends we can always "bank" on, and now I'm passing it on to four of my favorite bloggy friends, plus one blogger from another country. it's hard to pick just 5 people, I love everyone that comes by here! Well, that's going to be about it for today, I'm STILL sick with the crud, you would think that after a week and a half it would have said it's fond farewell, but nooooo.... it's decided to stick around and totally wear out it's welcome, just like a bad house guest. Still have to get a few things done though, we're washing down the front of the house so we can hang the shutters back up that I took down a month ago! Then we're going to finally get those Halloween lights and luminaries up, oh and take out the air conditions, woohoo! We didn't take them out last year and you wouldn't believe the amount of cold air that gets in through those things in the wintertime!

Hope you feel better soon, sisterfriend. I fought the crud for a month straight. It's a lousy existence.
And we WILL meet one day... hopefully before the kids graduate from college *lol* But good things are worth the wait :-)
