not just for the coffee...

Please please please vote... and please don't do it just for the free coffee, although free coffee is lovely and St. Arbucks is going to give you some if you tell them that you voted today. Cus, you know, it's important, really really important...

And if you come back here after you've voted and tell me how it went for you (not who you voted for, unless you really want to) you will be entered into my drawing. That's right! Just like St. Arbucks, I'm giving something away! Although, unlike them, I'm not telling what it is until the contest comes to an end and I have drawn a winner.
So come on, play along, get happy and all that jazz... Tell me what your voting experience was like. You have until 7 p.m. eastern time tomorrow (that's November 5th) to get your comment in and then I'll draw a name and let everyone, including you, know what you've won! OH, and be sure to include a way for me to contact you to let you know you've won, cus that would really stink if you won something and never knew...

Just an addition to this post to let people know about another great giveaway carnival that's going on. I think I like this one even more than the last one because it's all about books! Even without winning anything it's an awesome giveaway because there are so many books that can be added to your TBR list, something that always gets me excited!

My experience was quick (now line when I got there) and since I knew who I was voting for and what I was voting for...it was fast also! Thanks for the heads up about the BOOK GIVEAWAY's...I LOVE BOOKS!

I tried to early vote late week but the lines were so long that I couldn't deal with it (*and* a three-year-old.)

So we left early this morning expecting long lines but when we drovepast the polling place there were about ten cars in the lot so I decided to take the kid with me (like my mom did with me) and vote.

There was no line at all. It was so fun to tell her how important it was and and to let her color one of the dots (that I selected of course!) She didn't really get it, but some day she will.

I got my sticker and I'm heading to St. Arbucks this afternoon when I'm about to pass out from boredome at my desk.

Happy voting!

I voted today for the first time EVER. (I'm a horrible American.) I didn't get free coffee though. But since I don't drink coffee it was ok. Unless they'd give me a free italian soda instead, because those things are tastey. Or maybe just a steaming cup of choc-o-chocolatey milk. Oh, by the way, the voting went great. I was there at a time there wasn't a gazillion voters so it was quite pleasant.

What a fun giveaway! Actually I voted early, a couple of weeks ago. I love that!

My husband had the day off (very unusual) so while our oldest kids were in school, we took our 2 year old with us and traded off holding him while the other voted. It went quickly and I was so glad to have it done early (especially now that I'm sick and wouldnt have enjoyed enduring the long lines this way).

Oh and thanks for visiting my blog!

I arrived at 5:45 am and was done by 7:00 am. I'm so honored to have exercised this privilege, even though my choice did not win. I'm so thankful we don't have military/governmental coups all the time.

Forgot to tell you that I had absolutely no trouble or waiting in line with voting in Cecil County, MD. It was just after 1 pm and plenty quiet. Took me all of 10 minutes and I left with my sticker, but no Starbucks.
