yesterday, today, and always...

Okay, for everyone that voted yesterday, or anyone that wanted to but for some reason weren't able, don't forget to leave a comment in my last post by 7 p.m est tonight to be entered into my drawing!

And now on to other things....

Yesterday I got a little text message from my Honey about it being the anniversary of the day we met 13 years ago, he's good like that - remembering important days of our relationship and is usually the first one to bring them up.
So all day I was flooded with memories of our first meeting and enjoyed telling a couple of people about it at work when they asked how we met. I won't go into all the details here, but I will say that I knew I loved him the very second I laid eyes on him. I caught a glimpse of him for a minute and then he was gone, and even though I'd never seen him before, I felt my heart drop. But then just a little while later I saw him again and it soared. It was meant to be.
God has a funny way of bring two completely different people together, to share their lives, to balance each other out and make each other whole. And while these things aren't always easy to accomplish, He always knows what He's doing.
So for all of the readers out there that don't believe in love at first sight, I'm here to tell you that it really does happen. Chad and I met on that night, all those years ago, and have been together ever since. We've weathered through some pretty tough times together but at the same time we've always had each other's backs.
Honey, thank you for being my shelter in the storms of life. For loving me even when I'm most unlovable and letting me shine when I'm at my best. I am more in love with you now than I was at the moment I laid eyes on you, thank you for loving me...

Very sweet. You made me want to read more details! And by the way, I do believe in love at first sight.
