Come on, come play along with us over at Shelle's!
You drive 20 minutes out of your way to go shopping at a place you hate (won't mention any names but it kinda sounds like Wally) just so that you will have an excuse to go to the brand new Sonic. Then when you get to said Sonic you have to wait 20 minutes, literally, in the line that reaches out to intersection, which you should have paid attention to in the first place but you didn't because you were starving half to death, and by the time you realize that you really don't want to wait in line that long, you're stuck there with no way to turn around.
So anyhoo... it's all good when the line starts to move and you're salivating with thoughts of a yummy #1 combo, no onions, tator tots, and a grape slush... you inch up to the drive-thru line and while you're sitting there, waiting for your order, one of the kids that works there comes running out the back door screaming with a big box full of bags of peppermints, throws them down on the ground where hundreds of little BUGS go scattering EVERYWHERE... And I don't mean this kind:

And don't you know, they took all the peppermint bags out of the box, shook them off and then took them back into the store?!!!!!
Yeah, I hate it too....

Oh NO! I don't know what Sonic you went to but I don't think I'll ever be able to eat there again. AND I LOVE SONIC BREAKFAST BURRITOS! WAAAAAAH!
I was a little hesitant to read your post since people were mentioning that it was about roaches. I'm not a fan of those things. But I think I built it way up in my head, because I was more expecting you to take a big bite of your sonic burger and find out there was a big nasty bug in it or something. Now THAT would have been vomitously disgusting. Not that seeing a whole box of bugs come out the restaurant you were about to eat at is a walk down happyland road... It's a good thing you were stuck in that line of cars, right?

And to answer everyone, NO I did not eat the food... ick ick
However, I can't say I will never go back, the pull of cherry limeades is just too strong to resist, and cus I'm gutsy like that. I was thinking about it and at least the girl was freaked out about the box, which hopefully means it's not a usual occurance there!
