i'm in love....

Last night while I was flipping through Country Home Magazine (my absolute favorite read) I came across an ad for Elmira Stove Works..... OH.My.God. I am IN LOVE.... Now I know why we have procrastinated at re-doing our kitchen, because we were waiting to discover this place!

I have fallen head over heals for this:

And this:

If you look at the prices, you will see why we will probably never be lucky enough to own even the dishwasher panel that they offer, but dreaming/salivating over them is fun...
Almost done with Sadie's baby blanket. I'm the biggest procrastinator in the world, as I've probably stated on here somewhere before... I've had 10 months to get this blanket done, but instead, what do I do? I wait till after she's born to even really get busy with it! Here's what it looks like so far, I'm working on the border right now, it will be two or three rows of the Linen and then the same amount of Dusty Purple. I'm not very happy with the way the pink clashes and wish that I would have picked a different color, either that or picked a different sequence for the colors. But it's just a blanket and I can make her another one later. After all, it is June in Houston and I hightly doubt she's much in need of a heavy crochet blanket at this time! lol
Okay, I just tried to take a pic but my camera needs to be charged, so will post one later today, maybe by then I'll even be done with the blanket all together.
John Paul and Josh had their checkups yesterday, John got 3 shots, poor little guy, but he's a trooper and they don't seem to have bothered him much that we can tell.
Nicole talked to the doctor in depth about all of the issues that John has been facing in the short 4 years of his life, I won't go into all of them here, but if you could all say a little prayer for him we would all really appeciate it!
The doctor says that he sees signs of two possible things: Autism and ADHD. He has an appointment in July for allergy testing and then in September with a Neurologist, so we will see what comes of it.
I'm afraid that they have a pretty tough row to hoe, no matter what his diagnosis ends up being, but with all of the resources out there that are available to them, at least they aren't alone. I think that once they know exactly what's going on and can get him situated with wrap around services and whatever else he needs, they will see a huge difference, as well as learn ways to help him, and them, to deal with everything better.
Well, with that said, I guess it's time for me to sign off for now. Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend no matter what you have planned.
Till next time...
