blogging...

Mama Belle over at The Bayou Belles and Their Beau tagged me with this little meme today, and speaking of Mama Belle, Thanks for being one of my two lone followers and another Thanks going out to Shelle over at BlokThoughts!
For those of you that don't know by now, there is a new blogger gadget that you can add that shows who your followers are.. Even if you do it out of pity, because I only have 2 actual followers, I would love it if you'd put your pretty little profile pic up there for all the world to see! I promise I'll return the favor :-)

Here are the rules:
1. Write about 5 specific ways blogging has affected you, either positively or negatively.
2. link back to the person who tagged you
3. link back to this parent post
4. tag a few friends or five, or none at all
5. post these rules— or just have fun breaking them

1. Well, I would love to say that I spend a lot more time online than before, but that would be a lie. I still spend way too much time here, but at least now I'm doing something interesting! lol

2. It's so nice to have a place to go where there are others with similar interests and views on things. People that I would have never in this lifetime had a chance to meet otherwise.

3. And speaking of the people, wow, there are some great ones out there! Some that live simple lives like mine, and some who live above average lives, all of them extraordinary though, in one way or another...

4. All of the fantabulous, awesome, terrific ideas that all of you neat people in bloggerland share with the rest of us!

5. And last but definitely not least, blogging has really changed my life by giving me a creative outlet. I adore writing but have never been good at keeping a journal. And when I did I always wrote like I was addressing my entries to another person, kind of beside the point of a private and personal journal, unless maybe you have a few different personalities floating around ~ then it would kind of make sense. Anyway, I love love love having a place to go to at the beginning and end of the day to either write about whatever's on my mind, whether it be something that's happened around here or out in the big bad world. I love it that my family and friends come to read, because I'm the absolute worst at writing letters or making phone calls, so it helps me feel like I'm keeping in touch, in a way....

As for tagging anyone, if you're reading this, you're IT! TAG!

Hi Tiff, thanks for stopping by, I may have to try reading "The Rock". I did like the writing style of Morgan.

Don't have a profile picture posted so I'm afraid I can't join in with that.
